Services

I offer integrative counselling tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re looking for face to face sessions, online support, or therapy that’s sensitive to your cultural background or neurological experience, I’m here to help. Below you’ll find an overview of the support I provide.

Individual Therapy

A one‑to‑one space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a calm and supportive environment. Sessions are 50 minutes long and can take place face to face or online, whichever suits you best. Therapy is paced around your needs and together we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you.

Online Therapy

Flexible, accessible support from the comfort of your own home. Online sessions take place via a secure video platform, offering the same depth and care as face to face work. This option is ideal if you have a busy schedule, limited mobility, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space.

Support for Young People

Gentle, age‑appropriate sessions for young people navigating school, friendships, identity or family challenges. I adapt my approach to meet each young person where they are, creating a safe space where they feel heard and respected.

Support for Adults

Therapy for adults facing emotional, relational or life‑based challenges. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety or relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck. I offer a calm and confidential space to explore what’s going on and find a way forward.

Support for Later Life

A reflective space for those exploring transitions, loss, identity shifts, or long‑held patterns. Later life can bring its own unique challenges retirement, bereavement, changing roles, or simply a desire to make sense of your experiences. Therapy offers a place to reflect, process, and find renewed meaning.

Culturally Sensitive Support

Inclusive therapy for clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including those who speak Urdu or Mirpuri Punjabi alongside English. I understand that culture shapes how we experience the world and I welcome you to bring your cultural identity, values and language into the therapy room.

In Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy

Support tailored for clients neurological differences. My approach is affirming, meaning I work with you to understand your experience on your own terms rather than viewing neurodivergence as something that needs to be fixed.

Ask us anything

This is a question only you can answer! Whilst therapy is not the only way to make changes to your life, people feel talking about their thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential environment free from judgement is often a liberating experience. When we talk to friends and relatives, it can often be difficult as we are worried what they might think.
What it won’t be is me telling you what to do! The biggest concern I hear is people thinking therapy may involve an ‘expert’ telling them what is wrong with them or instructing them what they should do. In fact, the type of therapy I employ is quite the opposite. It is founded in the principle that YOU are the expert of you and only you have the answers to the challenges you face. What I will do however, is provide you with the conditions which you may feel able to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own speed. Rather than giving you a set of ‘coping mechanisms’ for dealing with challenges you face, our goal will be to deal with the underlying cause of these feelings and in doing so, allow you freedom from them.
From the moment you make contact, your therapist is bound by the confidentiality agreement and the code of ethics as prescribed by the BACP, the Counselling and Psychotherapy governing body. The only rare occasion that this may need to be breached is if you disclose that someone may be at serious and imminent risk of harm or if a serious crime (such as drug trafficking) has been disclosed. In this case, we will discuss what the next steps should be and if necessary, the relevant people will be informed.

Yes. What you share in therapy stays between us. There are very rare exceptions to this for example, if I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else and I would always try to discuss this with you first. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, which prioritises your safety and privacy.

Yes! Please ask about this when you enquire. I believe in charging fair prices that people can afford whatever their circumstances. Whether you are experiencing financial difficulty, a student or even a trainee counsellor, I will do my best to ensure this is not a barrier to therapy.
You can get in touch either through email, phone or the contact page at the bottom of the website. I realise the hardest part may be making this initial contact and am familiar speaking to clients who are unsure or nervous. Having had a 10-minute chat, should you decide to have a first introductory session, this will last 50 minutes. This session will be to determine if us working together would be beneficial for you. Thereafter clients normally like to meet on a weekly basis although this can be negotiated to meet your needs.
